Preventative medical care is one of the most important aspects of health, and as our population grows, the demand for medical devices is expanding at a higher rate than ever.
Annual scans and procedures are becoming more and more commonplace, while the technology struggles to adapt. Bugs, crashes, poor displays, and other issues can turn preventative care into a headache and put people at an elevated risk of serious health issues.
The difference between life and death can be as simple as a working endoscope. That's where ACD and our partners set our sights.

Current endoscopy technology is not user-friendly. Displays do not offer a clear view that is understandable for patients and the technology is unreliable and can result in appointment reschedules and cancellations

Design a simpler system that results in fewer bugs and crashes that consists of an endoscope that is easy to train people to use as well as a display that is large, bright, and clear.
